Legacy in Sound is a musical journey depicting the history of contemporary music. The program combines a musical performance, slides and costumes that set the stage for the artist who actually performs this exciting music. Singer-Songwriter-Guitarist Emyna the Rock Queen takes the audience on a unique historical voyage of musical experiences. She begins with the remnants of the music of Africa and travels to the U.S. on the wings of  blues, jazz, gospel, rhythm and rock and roll. Emyna performs songs from the works of Bessie Smith and Tina Turner as well as her original compositions.
